Being Human in a World of Data, Algorithms and AI

with Jo Cruse

Episode: 12

What’s in this podcast?

In this episode, we talk to Jo Cruse about human data relationships in the midst of an avalanche of analytics & AI.

It’s easy to think that automation and bots are taking over, and that it’s important more now than ever to ensure we have a human-centered approach to building data, AI and technology solutions. We explore how this starts in the classroom at school and transcends across organisations, governments, and the home. Ultimately, this will ensure that we focus on empathy, wellbeing, human connections, and collaboration, as well as creating space and time for these conversations.

Listen to this episode on Spotify, iTunes, and Stitcher. You can also catch up on the previous episode of the Hub & Spoken podcast, in which Jason spoke  to Neil Sparrow, Head of BI at AJW, about enabling more open data sharing across industry supply chains.
