The CDO Hub is expanding and comes to Leeds this February.
The Chief Data Officer Hub is an innovative community for senior data leaders. Members benefit from peer-to-peer networking, mentoring, and discussion on data and related topics.
“We set up this community with the vision to support the professional development of a growing crew of senior data leaders” said Jason Foster, Founder and CEO of Cynozure and the CDO Hub.
“Our member events are exclusive, encouraging engagement and debate to contribute to the wider issues in the industry. In turn, we hope this ultimately will help to elevate data literacy in organisations across the UK.
“So far, we’ve run all the events in London. Now we’re taking them on the road to be inclusive of data leaders across the UK. Our first stop is the CDO Hub Leeds – if you’re a CDO, Director, Senior Head of Data, Analytics, or Data Science-type role based in the North, then please register your interest in becoming a member for this event.”
At this inaugural regional event we’ll be hosting a dinner with a keynote from Susanna Lawson, CEO and Founder of Onefile, and the ForwardLadies/HSBC Business Woman of the Year. Susanna regularly speaks on leadership – and has an interesting data angle to this too, as her business is all about a platform for collecting and managing learning data.
For data leaders, the CDO Hub Leeds provides an opportunity to collaborate with data peers, share best practice, advise organisations, and be part of a network that drives value through data – and highlights its relevance. If you’re based elsewhere in the UK, but want to keep up-to-date with the CDO Hub, make sure to sign up to our newsletter.
“The strength of this kind of group is that, not only is it an excellent mechanism to share good practice among leaders in data, but it demonstrates the relevance of driving value through data across a wide range of sectors. In short, data is not a niche sport, it’s mainstream business.” – Tim Carmichael, CDO Hub member.
